More Leaked Private Chats Destroy what’s left of Jan. 6th Committee’s Credibility

By Ryan Delarme, July 28, 2022

Earlier this month Vigilant News reported that leaked texts from Liz Cheney’s star witness Cassidy Hutchinson painted quite a different picture from the act she put on before Congress. Now, further private communications have been acquired by the Federalist.

RELATED: It’s All Bogus: How Surprise Witness Cassidy Hutchinson Completely Delegitimized the J6 Committee

After Hutchinson provided several since-debunked stories to congress, texts surfaced between the witness and a point of contact from the First Amendment Fund, a group that was started by the American Conservative Union for the purpose of helping Trump officials cover legal costs related to the politically motivated January 6 investigations.

RELATED: Leaked Text’s Show J6 Committee’s Own “Surprise Witness” Cassidy Hutchinson Called the Committee “BS”

In the text message, Hutchinson refers to the J6 Committee as “BS”:

The single screen capture was enough to raise a few eyebrows, but now the Federalist claim to have nearly 18 months’ worth of private chats between friends from the Trump Whitehouse, and one of them is Mark Meadows’ junior aide Cassidy Hutchinson.

During Hutchinson’s recent testimony before the committee, she claimed that she “still struggle[s] to work through the emotions” of Jan. 6. Yet, according to the Federalist, in one message sent three months after January 6th 2021, Hutchinson said “I would rather shoot myself dead into the Potomac than see marine one flying around this city without 45 again,”, a stark contrast to the production she put on before Congress.

The decidedly anti-Trump establishment media was quick to brand Hutchinson as a “show-stopping witness” whose testimony would echo through the halls of American history; which may still prove true, but likely not in the way that it was intended. The Intercept, for instance, tried to draw comparisons between Hutchinson and Alexander Buttler of Watergate fame.

Back in November of 2021, Cassidy Hutchinson was among the first to be subpoenaed by the select committee. In the following months, Hutchinson continually disparaged the highly politicized committee, often joking about the very same riot that she claimed left her emotionally scarred. According to the Federalist, six days after her subpoena Hutchinson referred to the J6 Committee as “phony”, and told a former colleague that her testimony would “have nothing to offer”.

“Other than a handful of irrelevant texts, I have literally no documents or anything they’re asking about,” one ex-White House staffer texted her.

“Same,” she wrote back.

In a group chat, a friend shared a tweet from another former White House colleague.

Hutchinson apparently praised the Tweet, saying “When we win again, we’re making her comms director Or press sec.”, on top of that, Hutchinson allegedly used the phrase “STOP THE STEAL” in December of 2020 in regards to efforts to contest the 2020 election.

The Federalist revealed more:

“By March, she was joking about placing a prominent image of Trump addressing his supporters from the White House Ellipse on Jan. 6 in the background of her Zoom-recorded deposition with the Select Committee. She also joked she might use an image from an infamous scene in the Oval Office where Vice President Mike Pence awkwardly sat between Nancy Pelosi and President Trump.”

Apparently, Hutchinson also had quite a different view of the Committee Vice Chair Liz Cheney and her cohorts than what was seen during the J6 production. In September, Hutchinson disparaged Cheney and Illinois Rep. Adam Kinzinger, the two Republicans hand-picked to serve on the committee by Pelosi, as a “crop of losers.”

“I think Liz being the ‘future of the GOP’ is a massive stretch,” Hutchinson wrote in one string of messages just two months before her appearance. “I think she does have the power to cement the anti-Trump, RINO movement and really capitalize off it on a national scale. She’ll never ever turn the tides in her favor. Ever.”

“Even if Trump were to fall off the face of the Earth, her neocon policies are not where the base’s ideological politics currently are nor will head,” she wrote. Still, she conceded that Cheney’s hatred of Trump had tremendous sway thanks to corporate media’s amplification and assistance. “But I do think this maneuver is by consequence ‘future-shifting’ for the GOP in that she does have the power of the media, the determination and the cut-throat mentality to capitalize off this.”

Less than one year later, Hutchinson embraced Cheney on live television after radically changing her story to match what Cheney and the corporate media desired.

According to the Federalist piece:

Hutchinson claimed that CNN’s Jim Acosta contacted her and said to her, “Thank you for your bravery and courage. We and the American people look forward to learning more from your testimony.” Hutchinson said she had “about twenty snarky responses typed to respond back but just let it go … Like stop WARPING everything you [f——] [j—–] … and also I couldn’t give less of a [f—] what cnn thinks of me. Truly.”

Within weeks, Hutchinson would be basking in the glow of effusive praise from Acosta and other partisans at CNN, many of whom described her as more important than CNN contributor John Dean.

Hutchinson did not respond to this story by press time.

OpEd: Biden Doubles Down on Failed Drug War, Plots to Outlaw Nicotine

By Ryan Delarme, July 28, 2022

As if not unpopular enough, the Biden administration has announced plans to double down on the unwinnable drug war. This time, the alphabet boys are coming for the vapes.

“The U.S. Food and Drug Administration issued marketing denial orders (MDOs) to JUUL Labs Inc. for all of their products currently marketed in the United States. As a result, the company must stop selling and distributing these products. In addition, those currently on the U.S. market must be removed, or risk enforcement action.”

At the same time, the Biden administration is also proposing a rule to cap the maximum allowable nicotine levels in cigarettes.

Last year, the FDA moved to ban menthol cigarettes on grounds that they’re purportedly racist and homophobic. According to acting FDA Commissioner Janet Woodcock explains:

“The FDA will help significantly reduce youth initiation, increase the chances of smoking cessation among current smokers, and address health disparities experienced by communities of color, low-income populations, and LGBTQ+ individuals, all of whom are far more likely to use these tobacco products.”

No flavors, no mint, no good hard tobacco kick – no fun for you. If you’re lucky, you’ll get diluted, gray government nicotine – or, else, nothing at all.

——————-

The alleged motivations of the FDA/Biden administration bureaucrats are highly suspect. They’re on the job protecting your teenager from strawberry-flavored nicotine products. But, simultaneously, they’re more than willing to inject 6-month-olds with unnecessary and experimental gene therapies that don’t protect them from a virus that posed very little risk to them in the first place.

They’ll also shovel Ritalin and Adderall (an amphetamine salt which is, for all intents and purposes, essentially legal meth) down your kid’s throat so they’ll sit still in their public school library during drag queen story hour.

But they’ll protect them from the e-cigarettes that are already illegal to sell to minors.

—————

Even if an undeserved olive branch were extended, and the government’s motivations were assumed to be pure as the driven snow, the infantilization of the public is an insult to individual dignity.

If liberty means anything, it’s that adults are at liberty to take risks with their own health, safety, and even their lives. Protecting people from themselves – as a mother removes a AAA battery from her baby’s mouth – is not within the government’s purview.

—————-

Moreover, even if the government’s pure intentions and right to assume moral authority over what adults are allowed to ingest, what does the historical record say about the government’s ability to regulate banned substances?

Drug arrests are the #1 driver of mass incarceration in the Land of the Free, which is itself the #1 incarcerator in the world both in raw numbers and on a per capita basis.

But, drug warriors will then argue, mass incarceration – which costs tens of thousands of dollars per prisoner per year, incubates a criminal subculture, and robs non-violent drug users of their future – might be a steep cost, but maybe it’s worthwhile if it produces less drug use. Right?

Source: Reason

One of those lines is not like the other. Trillions of dollars later, drug addiction rates are roughly the same as 40 years ago.

In addition to failing to curb the appetite for the banned substance, prohibition also inevitably births new opportunities for entrepreneurs to operate outside of law in underground black markets:

“Though the advocates of prohibition had argued that banning sales of alcohol would reduce criminal activity, it in fact directly contributed to the rise of organized crime. After the Eighteenth Amendment went into force, bootlegging, or the illegal distillation and sale of alcoholic beverages, became widespread.”

Supply and demand always wins out. When an economic sector is pushed underground, all it produces, without exception, is more violence, more organized crime, dangerous/substandard products, and more destroyed futures.

—————–

America can’t win any other war despite massive resources. Why would the drug war be any different?

The US government spent at least $2.3 trillion (of accounted money – the true figure is probably higher) on the Afghanistan war, only to abandon the project twenty years later, leaving behind a sea of sophisticated military equipment in the hands of the Taliban.

The US government spent another $2+ trillion in Iraq (based on Deep State lies), only to abandon that project as well, destabilizing the entire country, plunging it into bloody civil war, and handing over a huge swathe of territory to a violent theocratic terror state.

Which federal employee was ever held accountable for their monumental failure – despite obscene funding? Dick Cheney, Bush, and the neoconservative war criminals responsible for the Iraq War walk free. The foremost drug war proponent in the Senate, Joe Biden, was awarded with the presidency.

————–

If the drug war were a private enterprise, investors and other stakeholders would have demanded proof of some modicum of progress. Without proof of efficacy, they would never continue dumping trillions into the project.

But in America, in 2022, the American public (the theoretical stakeholder and funder) has no say in public policy. This is not rhetorical hyperbole but rather documented statistical reality.

It doesn’t matter how ineffective the government intervention is – whether the stated aim is to depose a foreign dictator or control domestic drug consumption.

In large part, the looting of the public treasury is the point. Excess, escalating funding as a reward for continued failure by the executors of the drug war is the feature, not the bug.

The inevitable result of the tobacco ban will be more of the same: your tax money will be squandered in a failed attempt to dissuade you from accessing desired goods by restricting your liberties – all in the service of ulterior motives.

What the ban is guaranteed to achieve is a more self-perpetuating bureaucracy that serves no one’s interests but its own.

Whistleblowers Claim FBI, DOJ are Downplaying Negative Hunter Biden Information

By Ryan Delarme, July 26, 2022

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) has claimed that “highly credible” whistleblowers are relaying information to him in regards to the FBI and Department of Justice actively trying to downplay the outpouring of negative press towards Hunter Biden.

The ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, through letters reviewed by CBS, wrote to Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI Director Christopher Wray claiming that several sources within the FBI have given him evidence of attempts by the Bureau and Department of Justice to downplay, and even outright dismiss, bad press related to the first son.

According to Grassley:

“The information provided to my office involves concerns about the FBI’s receipt and use of derogatory information relating to Hunter Biden, and the FBI’s false portrayal of acquired evidence as disinformation. The volume and consistency of these allegations substantiate their credibility and necessitate this letter,”

“First, it’s been alleged that the FBI developed information in 2020 about Hunter Biden’s criminal financial and related activity… It is further alleged that in August 2020, FBI Supervisory Intelligence Analyst Brian Auten opened an assessment which was used by an FBI Headquarters (“FBI HQ”) team to improperly discredit negative Hunter Biden information as disinformation and caused investigative activity to cease.”

The Iowan senator’s letter also claims that “an avenue of derogatory Hunter Biden reporting was ordered closed” by a senior FBI agent at the bureau’s Washington Field office just one month prior to the 2020 election.

“The allegations provided to my office appear to indicate that there was a scheme in place among certain FBI officials to undermine derogatory information connected to Hunter Biden by falsely suggesting it was disinformation,”

In the CBS report, it was noted that “more than 150 financial transactions involving either Hunter or James Biden’s global business affairs were flagged as concerning by U.S. banks for further review.”

In another letter, this one dated May 31st, Grassley’s accuses one Timothy Thibault, the senior FBI officer at the Washington field office, of potentially violating federal laws, regulations, and Bureau guidelines.

“Whistleblowers have reported to me, that although the FBI and Justice Department maintain policies dictating specific standards requiring substantial factual predication to initiate an investigation, Thibault and other Justice Department and FBI employees failed to comply with these requirements,”

“In light of these allegations, I remain very concerned that political bias by a select group of Justice Department and FBI officials has infected the Justice Department’s and FBI’s usual process and procedure to open and pursue high-profile and politically charged investigations,”

Grassley alleges that Garland and Wray have “systemic and existential problems within” their respective agencies”, and has requested records from the FBI and DOJ with a deadline of August 8th.

This all comes on the heels of reports that Hunter Biden could be facing potential criminal charges for not registering as a foreign agent while doing business deals abroad. Biden’s now infamous laptop has exposed multiple foreign business schemes the then-Vice President’s son tried to shepherd. Last week The New York Post revealed dozens of sit-downs between Hunter and Joe Biden that were frequently scheduled just days after Hunter visited with foreign officials.

It would seem that not even the FBI and the DOJ can make this information go away, try as they might.

Trump Promises Rehire + Backpay for Military Personel Who Refused Vaccine, Vigilant News Gets Exclusive Interview With National Guard Captain

By Ryan Delarme, July 25, 2022

Donald Trump spoke at the Turning Point USA Conference in Tampa, Florida on Saturday. During his speech, the former President and potential 2024 candidate mentioned the thousands of military personnel who were fired for rejecting the experimental mRNA COVID Vaccines.

As per Trump’s Speech:

“We have to abolish all Covid mandates and lockdowns, re-hire every patriot who was shamefully fired from the military with an apology. We have to give them an apology and all of their backpay.”

And people wonder why the military loves Donald Trump.

Below is a video of the speech from the Turning Point USA Conference:

This will be a huge benefit not only for struggling families whose primary source of income was yanked from them amidst record inflation but for our severely weakened military.

We recently interviewed Cpt. Mickey Sheldon of the Tennessee National Guard, who, using his 1st amendment right, gave us his firsthand experience of what the brave men and women of our military have been going through.

Are Patriots in Control? Devolution: a Theory

By Ryan Delarme, July 25, 2022

DISCLAIMER: The contents of this article are based on speculation and should be treated as such.

Vigilant News recently had the pleasure of interviewing Patel Patriot, author of the popular DEVOLUTION series. In his own words:

This first article of the Devolution Series was written on July 2nd, 2021. I had no idea how many articles I would write. I’m just a guy trying to figure out what the heck is going on. As I have continued to research and write my series, my conclusions have evolved. I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t know everything.

The one conclusion of mine that hasn’t changed and that I have only grown more confident in, is that Donald Trump initiated a continuity of government plan.

I’m not asking you to take my word for it. I don’t think anybody, including myself, should be blindly followed. We as a society need to question everything. I urge you to read through this series and all of the research I have compiled and discover for yourself why I am so confident that Trump didn’t just walk away from the stolen election.

What conclusions do you come to when you add read through this series?

He then goes on to write about this theory for what is, at the time of this writing, 23 additional articles that read as if he were putting together a legal case. While the very nature of what Patel Patriot is doing here must include speculation, conjecture and unfounded claims are actually quite rare beyond the initial hypothesis. These articles include vast amounts of supporting evidence that SOMETHING is going on, but even if the devolution theory is inaccurate, these articles showcase what can only be the strangest instance of irregular warfare that the world has ever witnessed.

Patel Patriot giving a rundown of his theory at an event in 2021:

As we mentioned previously, the articles are information-dense, which is great for those who seek a deeper understanding of what is potentially at play in our country. However, for those who prefer video to text, Adam Riva of Dauntless Dialogue has put together a series on his stellar streaming platform called DEVOLVED.

If the 2020 US presidential election was rigged against Donald Trump, is it possible the military was prepared well in advance of this election to monitor for fraud? Is there any evidence to indicate that white hats in the American government knew Biden would steal the election and caught him, triggering a continuity of government plan to save the republic? Based on the research of Patel Patriot, DEVOLVED is a series investigating the concept of “devolution” which is when a government’s chain of command is decentralized to circumvent the Constitutional provisions for succession.

We interviewed Patel Patriot earlier this year, you can catch our interview below:
