J6 Hearings Yield Terrible Ratings Despite James Goldston’s Attempts to Turn the Sham Into Reality TV

The Jan. 6th Committee’s attempt to turn the hearings into some sort of Hollywood production is not only indicative of how propagandized this whole affair truly is, but it’s also causing viewers to tune out en masse.

The ratings are in and it’s a bust for the mainstream across the board. Cable news watch shared the ratings:

The Hill’s Joe Concha took the time to explain how bad the viewership really was.

 

The monumental tanking comes despite the Committee bringing on Ex-ABC News exec James Goldston.

Goldston, who served as president of ABC News from 2014 until early 2021, has been working as an adviser to the House select committee and quietly producing the hearing. This included the use of a massive teleprompter, which wouldn’t be controversial if it weren’t an official congressional hearing.

Politicians on both sides of the aisle have long expressed that the Jan. 6 committee is a politically motivated attack. Proponents say it is a necessary examination of the events that led to the Capitol riot and a broader effort to overturn the 2020 presidential election.

Other commentators, such as YouTube personality Tim Pool, have claimed the events of May. 29th 2020, which actually saw an assault on the White House and the moving of the President to a secure bunker, was much more worthy of attention. 

“Here’s what I don’t understand,” Pool said, “why the Right isn’t marching in protest against all of the waves of destruction caused by Antifa, the 5-29-20 insurrection when leftists set fire and tried to raze St. John’s Church, when they set fire to a White House guard post, when they tried to break down the fence surrounding the White House and the President was forced into a bunker.”

How soon we forget when things aren’t given wall-to-wall coverage by the mainstream media.

May Inflation Numbers Soar Beyond Expectations – CPI Hits 40-Year High

Though it may not come as a surprise to those of us who feel it in our wallets, May’s inflation numbers were higher than expected at 8.6% – the highest numbers since 1981.

Utilities are up 30%, Gas is up 49%, and the consumer price index (CPI) is higher than expected at 8.6%.

On top of that, we saw: new vehicle prices increase, used cars and trucks, Airline prices, furnishing, medical care, apparel, and so on. I think it is fair to say that everything is up, inflation is having the broadest possible impact on the entire economy. 

Everything in this report is up, but it was shelter, gasoline, and food that were the three largest contributors in the report, and arguably the three most important things required for the average American family to function and survive.

Slow Death of the Mainstream: MSNBC Sees Worst Ratings Since 1999

In May, MSNBC saw the “smallest monthly audience among the advertiser-coveted demographic” in over 20 years. The key demo is of course the age bracket of 25-54, as people in this bracket tend to be more likely to buy something and actually have the money to do so (except, maybe not in this economy). 

FOX News reports:

MSNBC flops in May: Network had smallest monthly audience since 1999 among viewers coveted by advertisers

MSNBC finished May with its smallest monthly audience among the advertiser-coveted demographic of adults age 25-54 since November 1999, and its lowest-rated month among the demo in primetime since May 2004, as Rachel Maddow’s reduced schedule continues to harm the network.

“Record-low ratings going back to 1999 is almost always a bad sign seeing as how they were then a fledgling network and far less ubiquitous in our bodypolitic,” NewsBusters managing editor Curtis Houck told Fox News Digital about MSNBC, which launched in 1996.

Houck believes that nowadays, liberals have a multiple options when looking to “be spoon-fed their talking points” but MSNBC honchos “need to figure something out unless NBCUniversal is content with perpetually rearranging deck chairs on their version of The Titanic.”

Viewers between ages 25-54, who are considered young enough to change habits and buy new products or services, but old enough to have disposable incomes, are the group that advertisers largely seek to reach with commercials. MSNBC has struggled to attract viewers from this coveted group since President Biden took office, and the progressive network averaged only 70,000 demo viewers during the month of May compared to 229,000 for Fox News Channel.

BREAKING: Police Kill Intruder Trying to Forcefully Enter Alabama Elementary School

It’s been reported that an “intruder” was fatally shot by responding police on Thursday outside of an elementary school in Gadsen, Alabama. 

The potential intruder reportedly went to several locked doors in an attempt to make ingress into Walnut Park Elementary School before police “shot him dead”, according to Gadsen City Schools Superintendent Tony Reddick.

This of course comes on the heels of the tragedy that recently took place in Uvalde, Texas. It is uncertain as of yet whether or not the intruder was armed.

AP reported:

A person who was trying to enter an Alabama elementary school where a summer program was being held was shot to death by a police officer Thursday morning, authorities said.

Etowah County Sheriff Jonathon Horton told The Gadsden Times that a police officer from nearby Rainbow City was working as a school resource officer and encountered the person, got involved in an altercation and called for backup, Horton said. At least one other officer responded and the person was shot to death.

No students were hurt, sheriff’s officials said. “All kids are out” of the building, Reddick said, and most didn’t even realize something had happened.

“We don’t know the potential of what could have happened had those two officers not responded the way they did, so we very much commend them for that,” Reddick said.

Authorities didn’t immediately release the identity of the person who was killed or any details about the altercation, including whether the person who died was armed or why they might have been trying to get into the school.
